ADMIRALS GAME
The second weekend in January was really good for us! We found out that Nick's class would be covered completely because they back tracked and gave us money for the semester before as well! We even will have over 300 dollars to put toward next semester! We then went and babysat our nieces Friday to Saturday while Andi and Jimmy went away for their anniversary. It was a lot of fun spending time with them, and they were so good!! Also, Nick got free tickets to see the Admirals game Saturday night. While we don't really watch too much hockey, it was still a lot of fun to go! Just a couple of pictures from the game!

NICKS BIRTHDAY
Nick's birthday was on a Thursday this year and we normally go over to his parents house every Thursday. We still went this year for his birthday too because he wanted corn beef and cherry pie. We celebrated his birthday just us two on Friday. Since he already had a cherry pie I made him his second favorite birthday treat: funfetti cake! I also surprised him by getting him Band of Brothers, which he walks by and looks at every time we are at the store, but it was always too much! Well since The Pacific came out, Band of Brothers went down in price so I was able to get it for him and still stay in budget while getting other nice presents too! It was a lot of fun even though we really didn't do much :)
Overall, it didn't seem like too much went on during January. The first weekend we visited my family and was able to see 3 of Kortnie's dances, and go out to breakfast with my family for my mom and uncles birthdays (my mom's birthday is the same day as Nicks! Easy to remember) Then we watched our nieces, went to a hockey game, spent time with friends, and just relaxed. I still have not found a job, although I did have a phone interview today, and had an interview with an agency who finds jobs for you, a temp to hire agency. So hopefully, with other people looking for me, it wont be long until I find something!!
