Christmas Card

I was a little late getting our Christmas Cards out this year. I wanted to do a cute picture of Owen in front of our tree in a present, so I had to wait until we had the tree up. They turned out adorable! I am really happy with our Christmas Card. Next year I will try and get them out sooner.

I took quite a few pictures these are some funny ones I thought I would share...

I have no idea what this face is, but it is cute and totally shows Owen and his array of expressions :)

OUR NAKED BABY

Owen had one of his explosive diapers and a lot of the time I put him on his stomach to clean him off. Well one time after he was all clean he was actually enjoying being on his tummy, so we just left him there for a while and Nick took some pictures. Luckily he did not pee everywhere!

BUMBO TIME

We decided to try Owen in his bumbo since he was really holding his head up well and he loved it! Since he is bigger than most babies at 2 months he fills it out well which helps him sit up more. Yay!! A new thing to entertain him :)

CHRISTMAS VISIT WITH KATE AND LO

Kate and Lo were home for the holidays and they came up to visit us, and of course to meet Owen! Owen just loved them. I really wish they were closer so they could watch Owen grow up, but I guess that’s adulthood; all your high school friends are all over the place. Soon, when Nick gets a job, we might be those people too.

CHRISTMAS TOY

My mom gave Owen this bear that reads him The Night Before Christmas, and he really likes it! I can actually get him to be on his tummy for about 3 minutes if I put this next to him. He is just entranced!

CHRISTMAS TIME

Christmas was fun this year since we had Owen, but he was super spoiled for not even being three months old yet. We did hit every Christmas this year, but we will have to stop that soon because of all the traveling. We will probably do Nick’s family either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, and then my family the other and switch off days every year. It was nice to be able to do everything this year, but it did make it a little crazy.

Christmas Eve started off at Grandma Ann’s, then we went to my Grandma Nix’s all in IL. That night we drove back home and had our own little Christmas where Nick got me the Kindle Fire and I got him the Playstation 2 (yes the old one he wanted because his broke and he still wants to play those games too) along with some video games and legos (He is like a big kid!! )

Christmas Day we went to his parents in the morning then drove back to IL to my extended family’s Christmas and ended with my parents and sisters. Busy Busy, but nice to see everyone and let everyone meet Owen. Hopefully everyone will understand that we can’t do everything anymore, but it is really hard to do with a little one. Plus we will want to have our Own Christmas morning with our little family :)
